124gr. or 147gr. for minor PF Walther Q5SF

Which do you prefer? I am leaning towards 124gr. for CO?

Been a long time, but I had a Walther PP something or other I shot in IDPA,,, it tumbled 147's loaded at minor PF

124 plated tumbled out of my SF. Coated bullets worked fine but I don't like the smoke. I use jacketed 124 now. They are very accurate. I have tried 147's and they shoot fine, but I prefer the 124's.

I shoot 124/125gr blue bullets, gallant bullets and black bullets through my SF with no issues. Great accuracy out of all 3, a little smoke with vvn320 but not much.

I started off with Berry's 124 HP with Titegroup powder then switched to 147 powder coated over sport pistol.  The 147s are super accurate and fairly soft shooting.  I'm running a 13lbs Wilson flat wire spring with bullets at 132 pf

I tested 115, 124, and 147  FMJ (precision delta) with HS-6 and titegroup and felt the 147 with TG had the softest recoil impulse.  It was pretty clear by feel alone that the heavier bullets and faster powders shot softer when loaded to min PF
