Squirrel45
Looking thought the archives I see I few people using Engravers to clean lead build up in the comp. I am curious if anyone has used these tools to mechanically remove buildup over chemicals. thanks Squirrel

Is your barrel/comp one piece? My Open Steel gun has a threaded barrel with an EGW cone adapter and a Cheely Ti comp. I'm concerned the cleaner will break down the thread locker (and I've got two places it can break down). Any guidance you can give will be appreciated. Bravo_Victor
Ive used the engraving bits to take off the hard chunks before, particularly the ones shown below. It’s not the cleanest looking job but it def works well. D521353D-8762-4163-BF2B-4484E0D004B0.webp

zombywoof
I use one of these Excelta pen brushes with a little Hoppes. They work great. They come in brass and stainless steel. It gets down in the port and scrapes off the carbon very easily.
