davsco
so if you have brand new brass (eg, starline, 38 super in this case), do you still run it thru your sizing die, or just skip that step? i did put some in my chamber checker and actual chamber and it fit fine. not sure it matters, but i'm using a dillon 750. thanks! BritinUSA
Tumble to get rid of manufacturing debris. Then run it through all the dies. If there is a defect and no primer hole (never seen this) but the press will lock up when the sizing due tries to push through the flash-hole. HI5-O
I run new brass through all the dies just in case there’s no primer flash hole like he said. So far haven’t found one. New brass sizes a lot easier too.

sauza45
Use lube and run through all the dies including the sizing die.
bowenbuilt
i hit it with some One Shot lube to keep it from sticking to the case mouth expander and run it just like any other brass. Don't skip resizing it. The One Shot will make your life a lot easier with new brass.
