FF112173 Posted March 29, 2021 Share Posted March 29, 2021 So I bought two MBX mags for my 38 Super. One works pretty well but the other is tight going in and needs to be pulled free. I thought maybe it was the mag catch so I removed the factory grips and checked it. Without the grips all the mags insert and drop without any issues. Put the grips back on and the problem returns. Dan4147 Posted March 31, 2021 Share Posted March 31, 2021 I have the same gun in 9mm, and 4 new mbx mags all lengths. They insert and drop freely. Actually they have a slight amount of rattle in the grip, which I think is good. Different item, but I was getting a decent scratch by the mag catch on the tube upon insertion.
