AzShooter
Years ago I made Master for ICORE, I was one of the first. After a long absence from shooting I'm back and now only shoot SCSA do to physical problems. My problem is confidence in my ability. I'm very slow and I'm watching the sight too long trying to get the perfect shot. I'm holding that front sight until it's perfectly steady so I won't miss. I know this is wrong because if I believe in my ability I'd just drive through the trigger and get hits. Anyone know of a practice routine that would help me gain my old speed back. O.K. I'm 69 but in my mine I'm still in my 20s.

rowdyb
Extension to fire drills. A rehearsed movement where the end goal is the gun going bang, where you want it, exactly as you finish your draw stroke. Progressively build up you speed to build confidence. You'll learn new timing in building your grip, how you get sight picture/alignment and when you initiate your trigger press.
