geezer-lock
Fellow on another board used the term “gear queer” to identify anyone that comes to a match with dedicated clothing or hardware (i.e., “not practical”). I first thought about Under Armor, then it hit me, he must mean that lime green sling shot thingy. Please don’t post that picture again! Steve Moneypenny
This has been a military term for many years, generally it means someone who has little skill and trys to make up for it with equipment, that goes far beyond what's needed. Also hording much gear which does not use.
