Berry’s bullets .40, 180 gr, plated load data ?

Sarge; thanks. Just one more question. Lead bullet data shows higher FPS. Not much higher but still higher. Being copper plated bullets will the higher velocity course more copper buildup in the barrel ? And thanks for your service. USN 85 to 88

Depends on velocity you want. For 9MAJOR velocities (1400-1500) you have to refer to the bullet maker info page. Certain plated bullets can handle it but most can’t. For minor loads the copper plate will remain intact and not build up.

Looks like you are sticking to a factory OAL.  I did like ZIP in my 2011 loaded long, here's my load data.

 

Bullet:  Rainier 180 gr. FN Plated
Powder:  Ramshot Zip 5.2 grs.
Primer:  Winchester Small Pistol
Case:  Remington
LOAL:  1.180
Avg. Vel.:  972.97 fps  
ES:  81.06
SD:  23.47
PF:  175
