Glock locking block pin stuck

Two of my Glocks, 26 and 34, have locking block pins that won’t budge using the Glock tool and hand pressure. Is it ok to use a punch and hammer to free them? The pins came out readily in the past. Both the pins and blocks are aftermarket steel ones. Thanks.

Locking Block Pins (different than "TRIGGER PINS") can be a little tight and may require a little smacking to get moving in a newer gun.  By the time it's taken apart a few times, it should come out without that much effort.

Trigger Pins, OTOH, should be finessed out, using the wiggle technique that practical_man alluded to above.

Don’t use a punch. They’re held in by the spring for the slide release.

Wiggle the slide release while you push on the pin with a 3/16th inch diameter punch. Pin should come out easily.

If I could kiss you across the internet.. Google brought me to your post and saved my Glock frame from destruction in anger.
