LittleLebowski
This just started happening after switching back to 9mm from .300BO and I’m flummoxed, it’s rubbing very hard, hard enough that running the lever is not smooth and I won’t reload until I’ve fixed this, I just can’t see what’s wrong. I’ve tried adjusting the camming pin up and down to no avail.
Sigarmsp226
Sir - Read through this 2012 thread related to this same issue to see if this helps you identify your problem....Mark

I’ve tightened up everything and greased where appropriate, but I’m still seeing quite a bit of pressure on the camming pin.

N7VY
First thing I would do is to remove the snoeshoe’s replacement part. Try using the factory part and get back with us if it still isn’t working correctly.
N7VY
On rewatching your video I would also suggest removing Case insert slide cam. Maybe something broke off under there. There’s a spring and post under there.

LittleLebowski
Removing the aftermarket part made no difference. Disassembling showed no breakage of parts nor cleaning needed but I did wipe it down and add grease.
LittleLebowski
Ok, checked again. I think I’ve found the issue with this wear on the inside of the case insert slide? Edited January 11, 2021 by LittleLebowski
N7VY
Well, there you go. I’m glad you found the problem.
ddc
Just saw this thread. That wear marking is almost identical to what I found a while back when I was having similar problems in that area.
