S&W revolver smith?

If you had a Smith that needed the timing adjusted, who would you chose to do the absolute best work?

Plenty of guys can do it. Pinnacle, Mojo, TK, Will Ohara...

Adjusting timing in a smith is something that most local gunsmiths should be able to handle.

This is one of the new S&W revolver kits..........you know......... all the parts are there, just not assembled with the care that was once taken for granted.

 

After one of the local guys installed a new hand, two of the chambers are still a bit slower than I like.  Peening the ratchet is an option but that's not the "elegant" solution that I want.

I still occasionally have to fix low mileage Smiths from the 70's & 80's that left the factory with problems. People forget that the guns from the "good old days" are only better because they've all been fixed already.

I said careful assembly was once taken for granted, I didn't say that it always happened

 

And, in the interest of full disclosure, I have some older Smiths that prove it didn't always happen

I have total confidence in TK. They've done work on a couple of my S&W carry revolvers and I couldn't be happier with them.
