Bakerjd
Just build a IDPA CO Hipower and am looking for a base pad, not extension, that would fit these mags? We did a weld on cylinder and slide magwell so I do have a little room for one to fit now. Anyone know if a Beretta M9 or other common mag shares the same or close dimensions? Joe4d
IIRC the glue on rubber pads were the same for the Hipower and M9,,, I have quite a few of them. Another option would be the KRD south african magazines if they are still around.

Believe it or not back in the 90's the factory mags just BARELY held 10 and wouldnt reload with 10 and slide forward. Caused a bit of rukus for me in my first couple IDPA matches when I listened to a couple blowhards that insisted I had to load mags to 10 rounds and they would fall out at first shot. At that point I threw a copy of the owners manual in my range bag which listed capacity as 10,,, and had a little asterisk. Bottom of page said, "Including 1 in chamber" so read it and weep. When I got a couple of KRD mags and switched followers so I had all 10 round reloadables. Eventually I figured out you where just about always better off with 9 + 1 any ways and had moved to a 1911 9mm. never could get real happy with the HP trigger long reset. Bakerjd
@Doge These are from when we were still fitting everything. Let me see if I can find some of right before it was sent to get coated.

I'll be sure to post some pics. Hoping it will be home soon. I'm itching to shoot it. All checkering was done by hand. Sean at Prasky Gunworks does a fantastic job of hand checking. He once did the top and both sides of a tri topped 2011 slide just because. It came out very cool.

Bakerjd
All internals are C&S, weld on magwell is also C&S. It definitely was an interesting project.

I like the checkering a lot and the SRO is a fine optic for gaming.
