How many 124g projectiles fit in a 5 gallon bucket?

This sounds like the math problems I had in middle school

If you start with a 5 gallon bucket full, load a few hundred, drop some behind your bench, stop and eat lunch, come back and load 50 more. What color is the bucket?

Weigh the bucket on a bathroom scale, weigh 100 bullets on a kitchen scale, do the math

This is what I would normally do but my blown out shoulder won't allow it. Had a brief thought to ask my wife but my life flashed before my eyes so I quickly digressed.

A five gallon bucket would contain 22,341 bullets. And the bucket would weigh 396 pounds.

How do you know it weighs 396 pounds lol.

Using his numbers...

22,341 x 124gr = 2,770,284gr = 395.75 lbs

The bucket should have added an additional ~1.5 lbs to that guess.

Fill factor is a bit uncertain and no box store bucket would stand up to 400 lbs, but

Specific Gravity of Lead 11.35
Weight of 1 gallon of water 8.34   lbs
Fill Factor 0.85   pure guess
Weight of bucket of bullets 402.30   lbs
Number of Grains/Pound 7000   gr/lb
Bullet Weight 124   gr
Number of bullets in a 5 gal. bucket 22711

Biggest uncertainty is the fill factor.  Take a small container of known volume, fill it with bullets  and use 231 cubic inches/gallon to directly, and more accurately, calculate what the bucket (contents) would have weighed if the bucket hadn't cracked and spilled its contents on the floor.

So it looks like based on all of the help here and educated guesses I have at least 20k in this bucket. That's good news! Over the winter I would put in a Precision Delta order every month and lost track. Looks like I am ok for a portion of 2021. Thanks guys!
