JDIllon
I currently run just 9 mm with to different powders and 4different bullets. Have never loaded rifle rnds. Can I do everything on the 1050 with out processing brass separately? Want to load for full auto 223 so no for need exotic loads Just sending lead down range! Any suggestion an additional things I need, plan on setting up a second head. JD
AHI
Were is your brass coming from? IE from this gun or other source. Is this as stated full auto or semi-auto? if semi-auto from same gun you could load one time without full prep (trimming). If range brass or true full auto then recommend some form of prepping before loading.

CPD7119
I'd recommend doing a prep cycle and then a load cycle. You'll have to lube your brass before sizing it and lube and powder don't go we together. I process a couple of buckets at a time to make it worth while. Pistol ammo is much easier like you said since it can be done in one session. I'd get a Lyman M die if you don't already have one. Good luck!
