CHPWS plate availability?

I have a gen 5 MOS with a CHPWS V3 plate and a DPP and want to set up a second gun with the same plate and dot.  I can’t find a V3/DPP plate anywhere except CHPWS, but they say I have to be LEO to buy one.  Lady at CHPWS confirmed this, but couldn’t tell me why.  Has something changed?  Looks like the V3 is .065 thick and the V4 is .095.  I might not notice .030 difference, but it still aggravates me that I can’t have the same setup on both guns.

Hello: Well that kinda sucks. I guess that puts that plate out for my new 17 Gen 5 MOS that I am getting. Time to look for another brand I guess. Thanks, Eric

They came out with a V4 plate to replace the V3.

I didn't know the V3 was ever available to non-LEO's.

I bought the V4 because is was the only one available.

if you get two v4 then you will be same same. or have a LE friend buy a v3 for you.
