SJBriggs
I'm looking for a hard shell case with pre-cut foam that will accommodate up to four limited or open guns, along with a few accessories. I looked at Seahorse SE630, Patriot , and Doro, but all of the four gun cases seem too small to accommodate a dot/ comp/ mag well. The Seahorse and Doro cases both look really nice, but I don't think that their four gun offerings will fit larger guns. I would even go for a larger two gun case, since realistically I probably won't ever tote more than two guns to a match. What hard cases are out there that will fit larger pistols??? BritinUSA
Pelican, they have a case calculator, so put in the size that you need. I use one of their cases for my camera gear, lockable, watertight. Made in USA.
LuvDog
You probably won't find something that meets all those requirements. You can easily find a case that will fit - even with pick/pluck foam. But if you want pre-cut / harder foam, then you'll probably have to get that custom cut. Or there is this https://casecruzer.com/gun-cases/race-gun-competition-2pack.html https://casecruzer.com/gun-cases/race-gun-competition-2-video.files/html5video/race-gun-competition-case-casecruzer.mp4 Edited October 8, 2020 by LuvDog
ltdmstr
I've used these guys for custom cut foam for bolt action rifles in Pelican cases with perfect results. Not the cheapest, but the best option I've found if you want it to look professional like it came from the factory that way. https://mycasebuilder.com
N3WWN
I've been using this with my 5+ inch Limited and 5 inch Single Stack guns: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K7ENO6G/ Vendor's page: https://www.caseclub.com/product/4-pistol-accessory-case/ Mine is slightly different than what is currently shown on the web, so I think I have the Gen1 model. The video is an instant classic, by the way. 13 hours ago, ltdmstr said: I've used these guys for custom cut foam for bolt action rifles in Pelican cases with perfect results. I like the Case Club cases, but they have a max length of just under 9 inches. Probably won't work for me. Has anyone tried the Patriot Four Pistol Case for their open guns??? Use the Nanuk case. You won’t be disappointed.
clw42
Just bought a Patriot Case for my open guns. Should be here next week. They were excellent to deal with and pretty fast on the delivery. As a matter of fact, I thought when they called we were going to get my information and start building the case (with a three week lead time), but they were calling to tell me it was finished and shipping and they just needed my address and cc number. I was in the same boat as the OP when I saw this thread a month ago. I checked out all of the places suggested, got quotes and went with Patriot based on your comment above and Don Fredenhagen's recommendation. Pre-cut rigid foam to my spec, lifetime warranty and a name plate for $330 delivered = pretty much a no brainer. Sure I possibly could have saved a few bucks somewhere else, but Patriot was super responsive. They emailed me photos of a bunch of cases they've done and were overall great to work with which made the decision even easier.
