36873687
I haven’t seen any guys going from s1050 to rl1100 bunch of 650. Anyone done this would like your input on upgrades. An what looks like longest pull ever on 1100
m700
I don't think there enough added benefit in upgrading from 1050 to 1100. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

Do you regularly load large and small primer cases? I don't see the advantage to a second manual press unless it's a new primer size.

m700
A lot of the parts will be equivalent but I feel it might be nice to have complete parts overlap.i don't like that the price of the 1050s went up when the 1100s came outSent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
Intheshaw1
If you're planning to automate one, why not get an Evo?

I get that, but from the sounds of it you are looking to add another press and automate one, why not add the Evo and automate it when you can. They are supposed to be releasing a cheaper version of their primer collator which to me makes it work the extra cost.

My thinking is sell 650 AD the s1050 or the 1100 then have back up press when stuff breaks. I cringe little to think I’d be back on 650. They great press but no comparison to 1050

It’s awesome but there has been issues an CS took care of but for 10k issues he shouldn’t have seem

They great press but no comparison to 1050 Is your current 1050 also automated with a Mark 7? I don't think there's any advantage to having two whole automated presses... even though I do. I'd just get a spare parts kit. I think an automated 1050/1100 and a 550 is the perfect bench. Writing a couple versions of this response has me questioning why I have so many presses. Maybe now would be a good time to sell them and reassemble my ideal reloading bench after the panic.
