Just wanted to bring it to everyone's attention that owns a GemPro 250/300 scale.  My 250 failed, and I contacted this company for warranty:

https://hbitech.com/warranty/

Asked for a brief description of the problems I was having and did I have a copy of the original purchase confirmation email/invoice.  I did.  After a couple of days, I received this email stating:

Unfortunately, we are experiencing performance issues with the GemPro scales.  Because we cannot guarantee satisfactory performance with the GemPro line at this time and do not have another replacement option, we would like to refund your purchase by sending you a money order in the amount of your original purchase.

To process your refund, you will be required to send us a copy of your receipt through one of the following methods.

2.      Email at returns@hbiin.com

You may contact us by telephone or email with any questions or concerns you may have.

Please be advised that refunds can take up to 3-6 weeks to process.

Mine might be older than that. I thought it only had a 1 year warranty. I got the gem pro 500 cuz I wanted 2 decimals if accuracy.

What was actually wrong with yours?
Mine seems to be working fine.

My gem pro stopped holding Zero. It would float all over the place. +- 10 or so grains.

Bought mine around 2015-2016. Contacted them about warranty and got the same response as the OP, no longer servicing them. I got a full refund and bought a fx120i.  Haven't looked back.

Go to the link I posted above and fill out the short form.  They will contact you to confirm your warranty period.........IIRC, all the GemPros had .00 accuracy.  250, 300, and 500.

Just out of the blue it started to drift without actually weighing.  Documented weights would be 2-3gn +/-.  Put a calibration weight on the pan and get an error message every time...........

Just a matter of time till it fails...........if eligible, get the full refund while you can!

Ok, now we need a suitable replacement for the Gempro 250. Anyone got any ideas?

If I hadn't bought the FX-120i, then this would have definitely been my second choice!

.02 grain resolution.
