echotango
I don't use 140's (155 & 170 only) and typically reload to a 155. With the Limcat magwell, the 140 dryfire mag didn't feel the same. So I made 155's. Not pretty but they do the job. Edited June 21, 2020 by echotango
kujo929
Are you happy with finished product? And is that just epoxy? Good ideaSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
echotango
Yes, happy with the outcome. I roughed up the bottom and drilled some small holes. I used jb weld plastic bonder as it is not brittle. Then hit it on the disc sander. Finished off with fine sanding drum and steel wool. Silverscooby27
Cool! Did you embed any tungsten in that epoxy?
echotango
No, I didn't. They weigh 10.8oz. Same as 14 rnds in a 155. I could always add it and patch it back up.
CalTeacher
I got a set of these dry fire mags too. I’m really impressed with the quality. I may have to copy your idea on a few since I like to load into 155s too.
Rvajma
I picked them up as well. Went to practice slide lock reloads in my STI Tactical 9mm and they end up getting stuck and will not drop free, having to really pull on them to release. No issues at all with the pistol in battery. kryo
I've seen a couple already have the red follower break from dropping. Most likely they were doing it on a hard surface, I didn't take the time to ask. Has anyone else been running into a breaking issue after a short period of time?
