BCompher Posted June 7, 2020 Share Posted June 7, 2020 I am wonder what the best guide rod weight I should have on my Canik to help prevent any stovepipes or doube feeds, and is that even guide rod related or magazine spring weight or both. vernbo Posted June 7, 2020 Share Posted June 7, 2020 I fixed a friends canik stovepipes with a kingglock 13 # guiderod with adapter cup , then the fireing pin spring was strong enough to sometimes hold out of battery causing light strikes , which i fixed with a glock fireing pin spring now he reports all good .
