Had a class from Ben in 2018. This video was a great updated review. What you cannot see in the video is how effective Ben is at perceiving a shooter's problem, diagnosing the cause, and proposing a solution. First rate instruction.

things i got from the video:

1. acceptable sight picture for the target, no more no less

2. make a habit of being low and wide (so you dont have to think about it)

3. dont fight the recoil (let the gun do its thing, but have good grip)

4. gun up (ready to shoot)

5. save time in transitions

6. see what you need to see, all the time (everything is seeable, try to see sights/dot even in fast double taps)

He's got a new Youtube channel with Joel Park, not many videos yet and not sure what the main theme of the videos will be

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWTsUCBvcfParIuopovOzQg
The new channel is about introducing the concepts of practical shooting to people who are not participating in practical shooting sports.

I watched this video the other day and thought, "I ought to experiment more with my grip".  He seemed to be saying that it isn't legitimate to incorporate a slight push to counteract the recoil and get back on your sights faster.  I definitely tend to hit very low left if I put one in the D zone on the second shot with fast splits.  I tend to grip hard, but mainly with my strong hand.  Maybe I need to grip harder with the weak hand and not try to manage the recoil.  More like when I do a Bill drill.  I can do Bills in under 2 seconds, and I know I am shooting those 6 shots with a different approach than I would a pair on a target in a match.  I never thought of using that "Let it ride" type of grip in a match settting.
