Intheshaw1
Just stumbled across this video on YouTube and figured I would share as you don't often see good and in depth videos from Ben for free.
anonymouscuban
I've watched it 3 times today. Good stuff. Thought he posted it to YouTube by mistake but he confirmed in the comments that he is sharing for free. Good stuff.Sent from my SM-G930U using Tapatalk
Unregistered
Fantastic small preview of how Ben's classes go. Anyone who has taken a class with him knows how much he sees and can pick up to help you improve, no matter where your game is currently at. CoyoteMW
Had a class from Ben in 2018. This video was a great updated review. What you cannot see in the video is how effective Ben is at perceiving a shooter's problem, diagnosing the cause, and proposing a solution. First rate instruction. Tango
things i got from the video: 1. acceptable sight picture for the target, no more no less 2. make a habit of being low and wide (so you dont have to think about it) 3. dont fight the recoil (let the gun do its thing, but have good grip) 4. gun up (ready to shoot) 5. save time in transitions 6. see what you need to see, all the time (everything is seeable, try to see sights/dot even in fast double taps)
nate89
I saw this come up, and I haven't had the chance to watch yet. I have listened to the podcast for years, so this will be a treat!

matto6
That Ben video is great. I struggle with pre-shot anticipation so I will work on exactly the drills he advocates.
obsessiveshooter
I watched this video the other day and thought, "I ought to experiment more with my grip". He seemed to be saying that it isn't legitimate to incorporate a slight push to counteract the recoil and get back on your sights faster. I definitely tend to hit very low left if I put one in the D zone on the second shot with fast splits. I tend to grip hard, but mainly with my strong hand. Maybe I need to grip harder with the weak hand and not try to manage the recoil. More like when I do a Bill drill. I can do Bills in under 2 seconds, and I know I am shooting those 6 shots with a different approach than I would a pair on a target in a match. I never thought of using that "Let it ride" type of grip in a match settting.
