usmc1974 Posted May 26, 2020 Share Posted May 26, 2020 I'm sure this question has been asked many times, but I was wondering if a Gen 4 Glock 19 Barrel( like storm lake) will fit a Glock 19 Gen 5. I did a search and didn't find the answers. I want to shoot coated bullets and my Glock 19 Gen 5 I'm not sure if I can do that with you original Glock polygonal rifling safely. dee loo Posted May 27, 2020 Share Posted May 27, 2020 It will work no problem between g19 generations. No change in locking block or barrel profiles for g19s. Its the g17/34 gen 5 that won't take an earlier gen barrel, gen 5 uses a g19 locking block. I agree with jubi, shoot your coated bullets in your stock barrel.
