ranger
If budget is an issue I would look at a Tikka T3X Varmint in 6.5CM.
coryf
My higher end vote is masterpiece arms: https://masterpiecearms.com/cat/mpa-bolt-action/mpa-ba-rifles/6-5mm-rifles/ Very versatile chassis, extremely accurate.
RangerTrace
I bought this one yesterday. Alamo Precision Rifles is just down the street from my office. They are a huge supporter of LE and I've been fondling their rifles for years now.

This please! there are dozens of not hundreds of great options, but like stated a little more info would help. Anything from a budget factory bolt gun to a $7k custom rig exists, these days almost anything will shoot acceptably well at close to medium range with decent ammo, handloads or off the shelf, in the 6.5 creedmoor cartridge. Desk-Jockey
you looking for tactical or hunting? If it is hunting, are you backpacking and want something light or heavier for long range. Another tikka t3x vote if that budget includes glass. The newest version is hitting the street so the older models are cheap both new and used. Their CTR is a good gun but heavier. up the food chain in production guns there is kimber, browning xbolt, and Christensen get a lot of nods on hunting forums like rockslide. In you budget, would also give a hard look at Sako fin light and carbon light. For $2000 you can go semi custom. Lots of options there.
TonytheTiger
Based on the OP's requirements and parameters given, I recommend this:
falconpilot
Christensen Arms Ridgeline - around $1800...light weight with carbon wrapped barrel, great trigger..and honest 1/2-3/4” gun. Full custom action of their own.
Blue Jacket
My $450 Ruger predator shoots great. I did replace the trigger but hits at 1000 yds no problem.

NOSHMJ
The RPR is a nice rifle for short money. I use it for PRS matches and have no issues out to 650yds plus.
