QC10 vs FM9 lower comparison

Hi,

 

I am looking into expending my knowledge on PCC.

 

Does anyone know the difference between QC10 vs FM9 other than the price?

 

I am seeing posts that say both run flawlessly and I am wondering why someone would spend $100+ more to buy QC10 over FM9.

The last round bolt hold open is better on QC-10.  Look at American resistance  I have all three and would rate as 1-QC10, 2-American and 3-FM.  My LRBHO set screw has come loose on FM. It is a easy fix but did come loose. You have to check it. You really can't go wrong with all three. They will all work. The QC and AR are a little better finish. Like to QC due to side charger upper, bought as set. The QC & AR have a screw to dampen upper to lower play.

The QC10 stuff was first to the party and word has been out on them for awhile now. The Foxtrot Mike stuff is still relatively new on the block, and right or not, there will always be some who see a low price and think it means cheap... but the FM9 lower is solid.
