Aluminum mag catch with steel MBX glock mags?

I know MBX has a steel mag catch/release to go with with their new steel glock mags. Just wondering what the wear would be like with an aluminum mag catch if we already have one. Do you think it would wear down relatively quickly? It seems like it might be fine for quite a long time.

Aluminum is fine with the steel mags. I used the factory qc10 mag catch during testing for around 8 months without issues. I only switched to test the fit of the steel qc10 fit. Plastic is the one that needs changed.

But the steel mag catch MBX sells doesn't look as cool as my ODIN Works FDE aluminum mag catch....
