matteekay
Fear the revolvers - we can run our speedy machines of destruction a full 3 and 3/8" off the belt. Quote Competition rules: Appendix D6, #10 The distance from the belt is increased to 3 3/8” for Revolver Division. This was an oversight from the original change for “race” divisions; Revolver should have been included. pskys2
Ye Haw! The Rounders will roll over ya! Wait, 3 AND 3/8" off the belt, na too much drag can't be slowed down! Seriously that far out, I'd be catching props & such every time I moved.
matteekay
Yeah, I didn't even like running the Super Ghost Ultimate, and that doesn't stick out nearly that far. Oh well... options, I guess?
PatJones
It gets us back to where things used to be. There was a time when is was 2" from the inside of the inner belt to any part of the gun. It was then changed to be 2" to the grip. This change is probably closer to where I ran things when it was 2" to the cylinder. I won't be out at the limit, but it'll be nice to have a little more clearance to my winter layers.--Pat JonesFirestone COUSPSA #A79592
Joe4d
That part kinda makes sense Pat. If you look at alot of the old school duty revolver holsters they stuck out quite a bit to allow for a waste length coat to be tucked between the belt and gun
MattInTheHat
Any change to IPSC? I always ran close to the belt so that I would have a single setup for both. Edited May 9, 2020 by MattInTheHat
