AzShooter
I started with the holster on the left but made the pancake today. I think the pancake has better stitching. My dying needs improvement. Fortunately I have an entire side of leather to work with.
Desk-Jockey
Sweet. I am going to try my hand at carving some leather. kydex is actually fun to play with too. You can make a DIY press with foam and boards. Shape with a toaster oven and a heat gun. Plenty of sheaths and what not to make for tools and knives. I did a couple of holsters but prefer store bought for those.
Intheshaw1
Nice work. I actually just went in with some friends on a cow but didn't think to try to get the hide. Maybe next time.
hmg1
When I picked up my steer from the butcher, he had a stack of hides outside, said they are not worth anything at today's prices. Call them, you can probably get some from them.
