midatlantic
Couldn't find the exact answer in my search, to bear with an old question I'm going to order a 2011 frame, 9mm open, and cant quite figure out whether to get a clark/para or Wilson/nowlin. I understand the difference, but since I'm not going to cut the frame myself, is one better for 9, with a bull barrel and compensator, than the other? Perhaps the most important question is which one requires the least skill in order to get the correct timing!:) I have built a 1911 from 80%, so I aint a complete novice... thanks. jcc7x7
PC seems easier to mill but that's because of my set ups probably. I've got guns with both and neither is a concern. Find the bbl you want and go from there. If a gunsmith is building it for you, ask which he wants to use.
CalTeacher
I prefer C/P.
rishii
Scheumann barrels says the c/p is stronger http://schuemann.com/Portals/0/Documentation/Webfile_Ramped and Unramped barrels.pdf but I’d ask your gunsmith Which cut and barrel he prefers

Are you going to fit the barrel or have someone do it for you ?
midatlantic
well, I fit the barrel to the 1911 so am planning to do the 2011 too. thoughts?
zzt
I would have preferred C/P; however, the barrel I wanted to use and the W/N cut, so that's what I went with.
safarihunter
I've stuck with the C/P simply because my pistolsmith liked the setup
IPSCLUVERRR
Cp is a much easier setup in the mill, I prefer the cp cut but own guns with both cuts
