JP captured recoil spring/buffer

I recently put a JP unit in my primary rifle. It's not a "race" rifle more of a general purpose rifle. I use it in local 2 gun matches. I do like the way the gun feels with the JP in there as compared to the Giessele super 42 w/H2. Both work just fine but the JP is smoother with less disturbance to the front sight [I shoot irons]. So I like it but my question has to do with longevity. Any known issues with the JP ? Have any of you run  one of these for long round counts?

I have been running mine for 3-4 years with many thousands of rounds. Outlasted at least 1 barrel.

Uh, yeah, a few barrels worth of life on mine as well. You can check it when you clean your rifle for wear but I wouldn't expect to do much other than wipe and relube for a while.

I've also had mine in for 3-4 years. I've never taken it out or replaced any springs. For me, the best thing about it is getting rid of that spring noise.

Things are awesome.  Super quiet.  No spring noise.   Match that up with an adjustable gas block and good comp, and the gun will not move.
