a2holes
Hello I have changed a good amount of Glock sights with no problem. I have a vice and punch for the rear sight and it was easy. However I struggled with the front sight of the Remington R1 1911. I know that front sight dove tail is a proprietary cut, but i bought a Dawson fiber optic that matched that cut. I sold that gun and have another 1911 I am going to want to install Dawsons on. Wanting to get a sight pusher tool as I am starting to prefer 1911 over Glock and the sights seem a little harder to install. Looking for a recommendation for one that works with 1911? Thanks! mgkrs
I've used the Wheel Engineering Sight Tool and it worked really well: https://smile.amazon.com/Wheeler-Engineering-Construction-Gunsmithing-Maintenance/dp/B01B3NU0U2/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1 Edited May 2, 2020 by mgkrs

Effectus Magis Per Minor
Earlier this year I had to change 170 rear sights on Glock pistols and used the MGW tool and it worked flawlessly. Brownells has them.

Tampa-XD45
Wheeler is definitely high quality. I went the cheaper route and bought this on from Ebay for less than $50: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Handgun-Sight-Pusher-Tool-Universal-front-rear-of-Glocks-Sigs1911s-and-more/184337600983?hash=item2aeb6091d7:g:w8wAAOxyUfFTk6xt It's made in the USA and has worked well for me. OnVacation
I got the pusher front sight-tool.com, I think I bought it off ebay. It's worked great for me, and matched my price point. I've probably changed 4 sets, and adjusted several more. Was worth every penny, and lives in my range bag nowadays.

gregj529
I spent the money on an MGW as well. https://www.brownells.com/gunsmith-tools-supplies/sight-scope-installation-tools/sight-movers/sight-pro-sight-mover-prod60424.aspx It's been great. I like that it has interchangeable plates for use with pretty much any gun out there.
Malarky112
I have this one and it has done the job on a few glocks and CZ's. https://www.ebay.com/itm/NCStar-VTUPRS-Mountable-Universal-Pistol-Rear-Sight-Tool/152602287328?_trkparms=aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20200520130048%26meid%3D68d37e061ec64c23b97953e49763e8e3%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D12%26mehot%3Dpf%26sd%3D274280660824%26itm%3D152602287328%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D0%26pg%3D2047675%26algv%3DSimplAMLv5PairwiseWebWithBBEV2bDemotion%26brand%3DNcSTAR&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851
