Dazhi
I have gone through a couple DAA premium belts that lose stickiness on the outer belt overlapping part very quickly. Each one lasts about 1 year. They are used daily, but I expect them to last a bit longer. Instead of buying new belt every year, I wonder if there are any tips/tricks to maintain the velcro stickiness? The belts are solid otherwise when I put on multiple belt keepers. The pictures show the overlapping part of the outer belt that no longer can glue together at all.
Rich406
A year is about all I get out of mine as well, with daily use.
DKnoch
I use one of the hard plastic Arredondo keepers where the outer belt laps itself, then I use a Velcro belt keeper to the right of that at my holster. The Velcro’s been a bit worn out, but it stays together well enoughSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Intheshaw1
Maybe try a ratchet? https://www.ratchetingbuckles.com/type/1-00-buckles-straps/ Edited March 22, 2020 by Intheshaw1

Is this something I install on existing inner/outer belt system, or I buy separate belt that has ratchet? Can you please post some pics? Thanks. orangeman711
Works on your existing belt system. Carbon Arms makes a very good unit.

Dazhi
Can also buy just inner belts to get new velcroInner belt is fine. It's just the overlapping part of the outer belt losing stickiness.Sent from my LG-US998 using Tapatalk

lroy
Mine did the same. Lost my belt during a stage and decided to try a ratchet. Problem solved. Edited March 30, 2020 by lroy
benvoice
Mine did the same. Lost my belt during a stage and decided to try a ratchet. Problem solved.I’ve wanted to try one for a couple of years now. As a match progresses the belt tends to loosen quite a bit. It’s lots of trouble to go to the safe area and cinch it back up again.
