What's the difference

So I am looking at building a Tanfoglio 9major open gun out of a limited frame. Came across a deal on a Tanfoglio T97 limited in 45acp. What is the difference between a  Tanfoglio EAA Witness Elite Limited 9mm frame and a Tanfoglio EAA T97 Limited Witness .45 acp frame???....... I'm basically looking for a frame to build a gun.

I haven’t actually done it before.  With the top end aside, maybe some safety fitting IF a different ejector is required.  I can’t think of anything else.  Again, I have not been inside a T97 but wanted to see if we can generate some input for you.

Jason, I can bring one of my large frame uppers to the Brooks match. We can see if it fits. Remind me.
