rooster mcbee
I need to send my MPX back to Sig for a going over. My question is, do I need to remove my aftermarket race parts, or are they okay with it the way it is? I don't want to get "Rugered". I know they will tell me when I call them, but I'm wanting to know now, if anyone has experience with this. Thanks Doug Link to comment
brytec
Yes. You need to send the gun back in factory condition, otherwise they won’t cover your warranty. Link to comment
TeedOff
I sent mine back last fall after the bolt carrier broke. I did strip it down and return it to factory config. They fixed the problem and went through the gun with no questions asked. Had it back to me in 10 days. This was right before PCC Nats so I asked for a quick turnaround and they made it happen. George16
Yes. I reverted back to stock configuration before I sent back my MPX when I had extraction problems. It took seven days including weekend and turned out to be the extractor which they replaced. Link to comment
inertia
I have had good luck convincing them to send me parts vs. sending in the gun, that may not be what you need though. I tell them its SBRd which shouldn't matter but it seems to help. Link to comment
telligentgunner
I sold my MPX after using it in a match where I was winning and then had a malfunction. And I had another one on the next stage. I literally threw it in my bag and said "I'm done." Can you tell I'm bitter? I came to find out that I wasn't the only one. grsdoug
Close to 10,000 trouble free rounds through my MPX. Not a single issue. Keep it lubed and don't run powder puff loads. Link to comment
