alien_pickles Posted March 6, 2020 Share Posted March 6, 2020 I run an extra-wide Limcat safety on my 2011 in limited, and I love it the extra shelf for my thumb. I'm trying to figure out if it would still be legal to run in SS on a 1911 and if it would fit in the box? Anyone have any experience running any of the larger safeties on 1911s? TISCHLJ Posted March 6, 2020 Share Posted March 6, 2020 (edited) In 2010 I was running an STI Trojan with the SV extra wide Ambi safety. I had to take quite a bit off of the right side as that was the side that I wanted to trim... I may have had to take a little off the left also, but it fit in the Box just fine.
