Dwbsig
Wanting opinions on best loads 9mm for plate rack shooting. Bullet wt.? FPS? Power factor? I know to stout of loads slow you down and to weak of loads sometimes don’t knock down the plate with poor hits. rpm8300
Are you looking for loads for just plate rack shooting? Any 9mm load at power factor, regardless of bullet weight, should easily knock down any plate on a rack. Some times, plates will literally bounce back up after being hit. Generally, at the same PF, heavier bullets are better for steel impact but again, anything 125 PF should easily defeat a plate.
Cuz
I use 124/125gr loaded to about 130 PF. Same as my USPSA Minor load.
JohnnyD
I don't think you should have issues with any 9mm load. My clubs plate racks fall with 22 even out of my pistols.
