Charlestiller
I’ve heard from a few people that the new Glock gen5 barrels are more supportive (or less unsupported [emoji848]). Meaning that Glock bulge will be “less” of an issue. I can’t seem to find literature to support this. Does anybody have any knowledge or experience with this concept? Thanks in advance! dansedgli
Glock bulge hasn't been a big issue for years. Sig X5 bulge is the new hotness.

dskinsler83
I dont even know where this comes from lol. The Glock bulge was on the first and second 40s lol. Seriously.
Charlestiller
I know that it is a more prevalent problem in .40 than any other caliber, but I have several 9mm bulged cases on the shelf in my reloading room. Sometimes I catch them when I visually inspect cases, and sometime the case gauge catches them after the bullets are loaded. I even have a couple of blown cases that ruptured at the bulge point. (I save weird or odd bullets and brass during my reloading and put them up on my shelf.) I’ve never had a gun damaged by this because I’m not loading very hot.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
