Newbie price check on a 625JM?

Hi, I'm looking to pick up a nice 625 JM that's had some incredible trigger work done. It will come with about 40 moon clips, demooner, etc. What is it realistically worth in today's market? Thanks!

The only thing that interested me in this  model was that with a 4" barrel

I could shoot IDPA.  But then i was the only one shooting revolver. No fun.

I would check on new gun prices and go from there.

Moonclips might retail at a low of 30 for 10 or at 80 for 10 , so retail value of 40 is something between $120 and $320 depending on exactly what you have.

 

Mooners are 60 - 90.

Stamped moons for 625 are a fair bit cheaper, 50 new speed beez moons for a 625 are 49.95 delivered,

no problem, I just fondly remember the old days picking up stepped on moons and having the moon be fine and even if it did bent it only cost $0.65  (I think thats what I paid years ago for ranch products)  now with the 8 shooters I lost 2 $8 moons to being stepped on at the last match.
