Only duds I've ever had with my reloads were:

Three .223 rounds loaded with Tula small rifle primers.

Two .45 acp rounds loaded with Tula large pistol primers.

Prior to that I'd used a couple thousand, or more, without issue.

I've got a lot of them to use up, with practice/range ammo.

The Russian primers are good, if your gun will ignite them.

My BHP doesn't, and my TruBor does.

Depends on the springs you're using.

This may sound stupid but is wolf russian?

Long time ago the Tula SR primers (like the same or similar) caused primer pockets to loosen in my 38SC much faster than WSR.  I stopped using them then and haven't been back, so maybe things are different now.

During the great primer famine I used wolf srp and hated them, they were harder to seat. Plus I’d get 1-2 duds per hundred and yes they were seated properly

I ended up using them only in my practice ammo

So...I have 5k of them just waiting to get used. I'll probably just load them all up and if I get a few duds here or there I dont care. Haha.

I also still have some left. I get a few duds per K.

Anyone ever used wolf small rifle primers for 38sc reloading? I have like 5k of them and just wanted to know how they compare to Winchester small rifle

You are better off selling them to a local benchrest shooter.   They are highly coveted, and hard or impossible to find anymore.

Wolf?

Why did they go out of business of something?

I kid you not I have 5k of them laying around. I was just going to load 38sc with them instead of going out and buying winnies

I still have/use Wolf- purchased large amounts years ago when the primer shortage hit.

Use them in Limited, and open.

No issues to date with large or SMR

Please, make sure you seat them all the way. When I stared using Tula few years ago I got frustrated because I had bunch of misfires. Once I started seating them harder, no problems in open guns.

I'm only used about 10,000 of their srp (I got a very good deal on them), so I'm no expert. I used them for 38 Special 357 Magnum 9 mm and 223 never had one fail.
