tke37617
What timers are being used with great results for Steel Challenge? We shoot lots of .22 so they have to be good to pick up the shots. Been using Pact with pretty good luck. Wondering what might be better.

zzt
Another AMG vote. It easily picks up uncompensated rimfire rifles without you having to crowd the shooter or hold the timer in front of him. It is also excellent at NOT picking up shots from adjacent bays.
nso123
I am surprised that nobody has mentioned AMG yet. They are awesome.
HalRex
Aaaaaannndd, its AMG for the WIN! I agree the sensitivity level can be set to hear the snap of a finger. Five presets available, easy access to split times and will Bluetooth directly to a pad with Practicescore on it. Only downside is having to wait a couple of months to get them. RaylanGivens
https://www.amg-lab.com/ Watch the video... The AMG timer is super for Steel Challenge... It uses a direct BlueTooth link to PractiScore and records times automatically... and accurately... We have been using them for Steel Challenge, USPSA, Zombie matches, etc... for quite a while. tke37617
Thanks to all. I have ordered a couple AMG Commanders to test. Of course they are on backorder at the moment.
