I do not know if I understand your question but..do you mean can you shoot 9mm on an STI high cap frame? That would be a 2011 in 9mm...Once again, I don't know if that's what you are asking. troupe Posted January 28, 2020 Share Posted January 28, 2020 I just built a 9mm on a Cheely frame. The options are endless. If you have a standard Colt slide, then you will be limited to a standard length frame (for looks only). If you don't mind the look of your slide cuts at the front of your slide with a full length dust cover , then you can gain a extra weight by doing that. I used a heavy, standard length which is slightly thicker. Give Chuck a call at Shooters Connection and tell him Tommy Roupe told you to call. He carries many options on the Cheely frame.
