Broken trigger stud

I can do just about any mod or custom work there is on a revo. A broken hammer or trigger pivot pin is the one thing I send it to S&W for. The reason is, the new one has to be located within a thousandth or two in all directions for everything to work right. The factory has the drawings and fixtures to get the location exact.

I sent mine back to smith 2 years ago. They charged 200$, had it 6 months and didn’t even fill the frame where they drilled it.

Send it to Joe at Mojo.

I have a different issue now that only the factory can fix, and I’m trying to find every possible way not to send it to them.

I second this, send it to MOJO CUSTOM GUNS I have seen a couple that he has fixed and the repair looks way better than the one I seen that smith did.

Mike knows people!

Sent my 627PC back Nov. 11, 2019 for a broken Trigger Stud.

Bought it in 2014, they won't warranty it.

They have finally responded back with a letter Saturday.

$148 for the Crown Stud, they drill the frame out oversize put a flanged stud in and stake it.  Looks to me to be a bit more robust on the M28 I had it done to.

For another $143 they will make it like original, refinishing is the reason for extra cost, had that done on a M29 that broke.  You can't tell it's been replaced.

Don't know how long they will take to do it though.  Just pray it's done right.

I really am liking the Ruger GP100 I now have, might have to think hard about an 8 shot Gp100?
