38 short colt loads

I found that using 9m load data at least gets you close and the pressure ratings for even max loads in 9mm do not exceed 357 magnum pressures.

looks like most are the using the 160 gr. Bayou bullets  any reason ? more knock down power on steel or just more of a forgiving bullet for the twist rate understanding your gun makes you a better shooter. and at 62 and a new shooter I need all the help I can get 🙂

At an o.a.l of 1.15 with a 160gr Bayou bullet I get a bulge in the case. I can load them individually into the chambers, but they hang up when in a moon clip.

 

At 1.20 there's no bulge, and they drop in freely even in a moon clip.
