Stafford
New Shadow 2 has been flawless with the 3 stock 17rd mags and 2 Mecgar 17rd mags that I purchased separately. Today, I took out my new SP-01 which came with two 18 round mags. I mixed and matched magazines between pistols and one of the 18 rounders had 2 failure to feeds with the Shadow 2. None of the mags caused any problems with the SP-01. I tried to duplicate the issue with the same mag in the S2, but it didn't happen again. Both of the 18 round mags did fine with the SP-01 as did the 17 rounders. Are there any issues with the 18 round mags?
ClangClang
That's atypical. I have a very healthy mix of MecGar 17s and OEM 18s and all run flawlessly. If you aren't able to replicate the issue, it sounds like the mags required a small break in period to smooth out some burrs on the feed lips, and now you're ready to rock. PrimaryBruce
I had issues with 18 round OEM mags giving me problems with nose diving. Put CZC +10% power springs in them and problem was 100% gone. Now when I buy 18rnd mags, I don't even test them first. CZC +10% springs go in immediately.
mveto
My factory mags are hit or miss in my SP01, two of them tend to miss feed while the other two I have are fine. My MecGar 17's have been 100% since I got them. Run mine with either TTI or Henning extensions and grams guts.
