What’s the difference between a Dillon RL 1050 and the RL 1050 super? Compatibility?

What is the difference between them? Also, what about compatibility? If you have one of each will parts interchange? What about moving one from large to small primer setup? Will parts work on both systems? Any input would be appreciated.

I have the RL 1050 and I believe it has a shorter stroke of the toolhead than the Super. Both have the sm/lg primer feature but the Super system is somewhat different I hear. The new 1100 is allegedly going back to the RL1050 style primer system.

 

Some parts of the Super don't work on the RL. However, I've never had any trouble finding parts for the RL but never needed many either.

 

I would guess you would be happy with any the three models.
