JustShootMe Posted December 18, 2019 Share Posted December 18, 2019 All the threads related to the Rock Island tactical double stack 45 1911 are from 4 or more years ago which leads me to believe its release was just a fad and after a short time people found it wasnt worth it even at a decent price. enroute Posted December 19, 2019 Share Posted December 19, 2019 I didn't have to invest more than range time and ammo. I have a 9mm/22tcm combo, just took it apart and cleaned it well, run it wet. It's much heavier than the high $$ 2011s, but it's just a gun. I bought mine through my FFL for cheap, and IIRC the last time I looked they've gone up significantly in price.
