Which CZ .40 should I get as a Kadet host?

I really just want a Kadet to shoot, but my only CZ is a CTS and they don't fit.  I figured if I got a new CZ gun in .40 then I could maybe run it as a backup in limited class USPSA matches.  I don't really want another 9mm.  

I'd like a flat trigger, and a trigger job (preferably single action only), but the hammer spring can't be so light that it won't ignite the .22 rounds.

 

Any advice on which CZ to pick?

CZ 75B in .40.  Not sure there are other choices.

They are discontinued this year.  I'm sure you could find one.

CZ75 BSA in 40

Change out the hammer and sear.  Trigger return spring and pin.  Trigger of your choice with both take up and over travel screws.  That is it.  Optional would be removing firing pin block lifter and spring from sear cage and replacing with spacer.  Crisp 3 lb pull .

 

CZ Custom has SA lowers without the upper slide.  Perfect for building up the perfect Kadet.

I'd recommend getting just a 75 lower as well. With the Kadet you wont shoot the 40 upper much anyways.
