Stafford
Is the grip size on the Tactical Sports model thick, thin, or medium. How does it compare to a Shadow 2 or regular 75? It looks big, but it may just be the wood grip panels.
robchavous
The frame on the TS is larger than a Shadow 2 frame. You can adjust thickness through different grip panels to your liking.Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
Tok36
Here are the Stock TS grip measurements (stock wood grips installed, measurements taken level with the slide at the grips screw): Depth - 2.310, Width 1.350 From what i have read on the subject, it is the extra meat on the front and back strap that make the grip feel larger. As mentioned above, the grip width is varable being based on the specific grips installed. The TS will except stranded CZ75 variant grips with the factory mag well removed. With the factory mag well or after market mag wells installed standard 75 grips require shortening at the bottem of the grips but they can still be used. codemonkey001
The TS feels big but fits, if you follow me. I wear size large gloves and it fits well. I think if it was a little larger it would be too big for me. But if it was Shadow 2 size it would need different grips. The shadow 2 is a little “skinny” to me. I would definitely need to get some grips that had a bit more palm swell to them. But the shadow 2 is still grippy with the aluminum grips, it’s just a comfort thing for me.
