bigstick0000
After watching others shoot PCC I decided to try it. Even after I was told by another shooter at a match that they were not a pcc friendly club. I started with an ATI 9mm and put taccom parts on it. Liked it to much. My wife what me a JP gmr-15 for my birthday. At first I wasn't too thrilled about it because of the weight of the rifle. But I contacted JP and they sent me their new lightweight competition Barrel. It made a huge difference in it. There is nothing I can say bad about it except it's an incredible running machine and never jams recoil is not there and we'll feed anything I give it. I'm extremely happy with it I don't even shoot my Cameron or Brazos anymore any more. Link to comment
philmadxx
Did you try it with the first (heavy) barrel? I have a GMR-15 on order with the 14.7" welded muzzle. My current gun is a Stag 9 - It's pretty heavy and that doesn't bother me but I'm curious about a comparison. Phil Link to comment
stock
I use my GMR -15 for steel challenge mostly and it's been super reliable. What i the weight savings with the new light weight barrel ? Link to comment
philmadxx
The ultralight (5.5" plus shroud) is 15.5 oz. 14.7" is 22.4 oz. 16" is 24.7 oz. The longer ones would have a muzzle device on them as well, not sure how much that adds. In my mind, it isn't the amount of weight being saved, it's where you are saving it - at the end of the barrel. I'm going to shoot mine with the 14.7" and see how it goes. Phil Link to comment
