PhotoRecon
I emailed CZ USA for the OEM recoil spring rate for the Czechmate but they never responded. The Cz part number and description don't disclose the weight. Reading lots of posts on forums claim anywhere from 10 to 16lbs. Wolff website says 10lb is standard. Anyone have anything that states what that OEM spring weight is?
PhotoRecon
Called CZ-USA today and they said 16lb and it's part no. 10911291. Forgot I have a spring tension tool for my 1911s. Had to use the small spring adapter but the spring that came installed is a 10lb. My circa 2019 Czechmate did not come with any extra springs. Now I understand why it cycles fine with very light reloads.
PhotoRecon
Update...Dec 11th... Received 3 of the 5 I ordered - Part No. 10911291 today. They had a 20% off special which they stated but didn't honor. Charged $9.06 shipping that took 2 weeks. Could have shipped small flat rate box for nearly half that and would have been here in 3 days. Anyway, the spring tester shows these as 12lbs. Czechmate came with 10lb, these are 12lb and CZ-USA claims it should be 16lb...??? Not sure why the big mystery on springs...guess I'll give up on staying with OEM and do trial and error instead.
