alien_pickles
I'm running a Dillon 550C, and I have a problem with bullets seating crooked. I'm fairly sure this is because I don't place them vertically enough. However, based on the size of my bell, getting them lined up perfectly is tedious and time consuming. Increasing the bell means I either fail case gauge or I have to add too much crimp. I read that an M expander die can solve this problem. Since I'm running a 550, I don't have any extra stations to put one. I get the impression that the Lyman Multi-Expander and Powder Charge Die can function as both an M die and a bell, while still working for the powder drop. However, I can't find any information about whether they're compatible with the Dillon powder measure. Anyone have any experience with this die? Does it work with the Dillon, or have you successfully used to get your bullets to seat better?
DJRyan13
What are you reloading? Would one of the Dillon MBF powder funnels help? They are much better than the Dillon funnels resulting in straighter placement of bullets by the MBF die. Still would work in your situation too. https://www.doublealpha.biz/us/mr-bulletfeeder-powder-funnel
