af220wa
Has anyone done a slide cut for an optic on the standard P365? If so, did you remove the old rear sight or cut in front of it. Which optic did you choose? Who did the work and were you happy with it.
Archangelgt
I was toying with the idea, but never followed through. I was going to have Maple Leaf Firearms, who did a cut for my friends glock. Here's an example from their website of P365 with the Shield RMS
jcc7x7
Used an old Delta point original. Removed rear sight so it fit current holster. Agape manufacturing did mine. Disclosure, I work there!
Cuz
Bumping this for any updates. I’d like to send out my P365 slide to get it milled for a Holosun 407k. Thanks.
Hollywood501
I had my P365 milled for a Holosun 507k by Maple Leaf Firearms. I decided to maintain my factory sights so RDS was milled in front of rear sight. They also Cerakoted the slide. They did really great work and I would highly recommend them. I shipped my P365 slide off to Maple Leaf this morning. I went with a 407k cut all the way back. I figure the tiny wings on the back of the sight along with the factory front sight should be adequate for short range in the event the dot dies. I also sent my G43 slide off to Battle Werx to mill the same optic in front of the sights.
Hollywood501
Great! You won’t be disappointed. The Holosun 407/507 is a great sight also. I put one on my wife’s Hellcat and she loves it. Good luck with your modifications!
up1911fan
Bumping this up. Would the stock iron sights be usable for backups if I had Maple Leaf mill for a 507K?
